Applause applause applause. This diamond of a cafe is most affordable. The food is of a great standard. The breakfasts are amazing. The hot drinks are priced very sensibly with the returning tourist in mind. I wish Abbotsbury carpark cafe was owned by these people. Anyone who intends walking the Chesil beach to Abbotsbury or the entire length, to West Bay, should start out with a good breakfast from Quiddles cafe. They open at 09:00. That leaves plenty of time for either walk to be completed once breakfast has been eaten. Go and have a great experience. Update 16/10/25 I set myself a challenge to walk the Chesil Beach from West Bay to Quiddles cafe in 6 hours and get there before they close. Well I did it in 6 h 40 m but was 11 minutes late. The very kind staff, as they were tidying up for the day, went out of their way to provide me with a hot drink and a sweet treat. I'm dedicated to them forever and recommending them to everyone.

Beautiful place. Service is excellent, and breakfast 😋 was brilliant. You have lovely seating outside, as long the weather is calm 😀 with Portland you never know. You have the added bonus of the amazing views of Chessell Beach with the waves crashing in on the beach. Lovely walk along and great for wildlife and taking pictures 📸. Temporary closed atm.

Incredible place. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had (and we go to lots of b and b's/breakfast spots) with absolutely stunning scenery. Friendly tentative staff. Would 100% recommend. We will be back!

We found this lovely place whilst on holiday. There was a small parking area near the road which was free! And then we had a short walk along the sea front to get there. The staff were lovely and so was the food. It was a coolish day but we opted to eat outside as the view was beautiful. We were offered cushions for the chairs and even a blanket for my knees. To me that was a really lovely touch. I would definitely recommend.
